Honestly with HOTAS though it's even worse (in my opinion). Some people get by with a thumbstick for strafing but honestly the dual sticks just feels so much better. Honestly I really recommend HOSAS or HOTASAS especially for landing. I own Two Virpil WarBRD Bases w/ Constellation Deltas (Have alphas on preorder) and a Virpil Throttle and I _rarely_ use the throttle for SC.
